還記得上一篇應承會介紹這間 Casa Ana Bed & Breakfast
晨早的客廳
在太陽的照射下感覺很暖和
看看安樂椅下還沒起來的懶惰貓
Good Morning
這間小民宿是由兩位上了年紀的美國婦人 Casa & Ana 主理
田園式的佈置
Bed & Breakfast 當然要介紹這 Dining Place
實在是旅途中的一個驚喜
感覺很閒適及愉悅
雖然是簡單不過的 Fruit Yogurt, Jam & Bread, Coffee & Juice
但已令我感覺很富足
這裡的 Coffee Mug 都有這小小民宿老闆的 Local
這花園是不是很雅緻呢
一個小泳池行到盡頭便是民宿的房間 (共 5 間)
由於我們的行李喼太重
所以沒有選擇樓上的房間
就帶你們上樓俯瞰這庭園的景觀
其中一間 Mariposa Room

Queen size bed - $40 USD per night - up to 2 persons
食飽飽就 09:00 駕車出發往
Izamal 在墨西哥的 Yucatán 半島裡算是一個小城市
在 Mérida 以及 Chichén Itzá 之間
位於 Mérida 以東~ 72 公里的地方
是一個寧靜的殖民地小城
2000 年統計這裡人口是 15000
在瑪雅語意裡 Izamal為『露水的天堂』
可見當時這裡有著很重要的宗教地位
眾所皆知 : Izamal 被稱為〝The Yellow City，黃色小鎮〞
這裡大多的建築物是以黃色為主
另一稱號為〝The City of Hills，最多古老金字塔之城〞
一般的遊客都是匆匆路過
但是我覺得在這個純黃色的小鎮上悠閒的走著拍照
也是墨西哥旅程一個不錯的選擇
這裡適合 2-3 小時的徒步旅遊
在古代 Izamal 是祭祀瑪雅
最高神靈 Itzamna 和太陽神 Kinch-Kekmo 的中心
這裡有 12 座供奉它們及其它神靈的金字塔
可能是這些龐大的瑪雅宗教建築
促使西班牙人修建了無數的聖方濟各修道院
至今還矗立在市中心
很美的 Izamal
藍天白雲的黃色小鎮
有陽光的天氣多美
還記得墨西哥這獨有的情侶椅嗎
我在這黃色小城鎮走著
與逍遙自在相遇
........
旅行中的每一個驚喜
也是我平凡人生中的加油站
令我忘卻生活中的不如意及壓力
人生本應就是一切都不如所料
冥冥之中都有主宰
有心尋花....花不發
我享受這悠悠閒靜的一個早晨
再駕車到 downtown 欣賞這黃色小鎮
當西班牙人征服 Izamal 後
他們摧毀了主要的瑪雅神殿金字塔
並在 1533 年用取自這裡的石頭修建了新大陸上的第一座修道院

曾幾何時.....黃色令我啍著 "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road"
由這時開始
.....黃色就令我聯想 Izamal
Pamphlet 是這樣寫的:
The buildings of the city, considered a jewel of the Colonial Era,
are painted yellow, contrasting with the blue of the sky
& giving the city a distinctive look.
相信絕不為過........
教宗 Pope John Paul II 於 1993 曾造訪這黃色小鎮
令這裡聲名大噪
修道院主要的教堂是

每年的 8 月 15 日都會在這裡舉行 Izamal 聖母節

在這拱廊裡
可以找到明顯標記的石塊
顯然這些是似早前從瑪雅神殿上取來的

its excellent gastronomy combine to nuture appealing atmosphere that is quite inviting.
